I'm here for you...

My style of talk therapy offers you a safe, confidential and therapeutic space where we will work together so that you can become more aware of your inner conflicts and emotional distress, and can examine what these may mean in the context of your past, present and future. 

Talk therapy with me will offer you the opportunity to develop your self-awareness, explore your own potential to create positive changes in your life, improve your well-being, enrich your relationships with others, and essentially support you to become more authentic. 

As an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist,  I use several therapeutic models (Person-Centred/ Humanistic, Existential, Psychodynamic & Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) to intuitively create a flexible and integrative therapeutic approach that is specifically for you.

How long will therapy take?

The length of time needed for therapy depends upon you and your needs and I am happy to work on a short, medium, long or open-ended basis. We can discuss this when we first meet – if we initially agree to a number of sessions we can work together within a time frame, which can be extended if need be.

 Suggested time frames for therapy:

  • short: 8 - 12 weeks
  • medium:12 - 24 weeks
  • long: 24 - 40 weeks
  •  open ended

The first session...

In a private and confidential therapeutic space, you will be supported to feel safe and comfortable enough to begin exploring the reasons that brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it. 

We will also agree to:

  • a regular weekly time slot that is reserved specifically for you,
  • the fee you will pay for each session
  • a specific time frame for the therapy
  • the *Holidays & Cancellation Policy

Location & fees...

My practice is in Battersea, near Clapham Junction Station (7 - 9 minutes walk; 3 minutes drive). 

Each counselling and psychotherapy session lasts 50 minutes. The fees charged for each session of counselling and psychotherapy are as follows:

£50 for individuals

£70 for couples

I accept cash, or payment can be made in advance of your session by bank transfer.

About me...

I have a Masters degree (MA) in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy from the University of Roehampton. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and I adhere to its Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. I am committed to continuing professional development (CPD) and stay up to date with the latest developments in psychotherapy and counselling.

As well as psychotherapy and counselling, I also have a passion for education. I support students in higher education on a 1:1 basis as both a Consultant Study Skills Tutor (Specific Learning Differences - SpLD) and Specialist Mentor (mental health). My other professional qualifications include:

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Adult Dyslexia, Diagnosis & Support
  • Doctor of Education (EdD) 

All my professional roles have helped me to develop an openness to knowing individuals and their specific needs, and a natural curiosity about how we as humans are in relationship with ourselves and others.
